Ty Hir: Grade II listed Welsh Longhouse

Renovation & Conversion of a Grade II listed traditional Longhouse.

The house is a beautiful and unusually well preserved traditional Long House.  While the original timber and mud walls have been replaced with stone over time the building’s form and layout remains largely unchanged and the original cruck frame is still visible.

The house is being sensitively renovated with traditional and entirely natural materials to preserve its historic character while providing modern standards of insulation, daylighting and heating.
